How SpecCapture handles your drawings
Drawings are some of the most sensitive files a shop owns. These are the commitments SpecCapture is built around. Fuller security documentation will be published here before launch.

Retention you set
Choose how long SpecCapture keeps your drawings and results: 0, 7, 30 or 90 days. When the time is up they are deleted automatically. New accounts start at 30 days.
Never used to train shared models
Your documents are not used to train AI models that anyone else uses. SpecCapture reads drawings through commercial AI services whose terms exclude customer data from model training.
Stored in the US
Your files and extracted data are stored in a United States region.
Isolated per customer
Each account's data is kept apart from every other account's. The separation is enforced by the database itself, not only by the application on top of it.
Not for export-controlled drawings
SpecCapture is not designed for export-controlled technical data, such as drawings covered by ITAR or the EAR. Please do not upload them; the terms of service will ask you to confirm this.
