Our full privacy policy will be published here before SpecCapture launches. Until then, this is what this website does with your information.

This website
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, described below, and nothing else.
- Its fonts, images and code are served from this site, apart from the visit counter’s one script, not loaded from anyone else's.
- Like any website, the servers that deliver it may keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the service running and secure.
How visits are counted
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, so we can tell whether anyone reads these pages and which ones. When a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare reports:
- the page's address, and the address of the site that linked to it, if any;
- your browser, operating system and kind of device (phone, tablet or computer);
- the country the visit came from;
- how long the page took to load and to respond.
It uses no cookies and nothing stored in your browser, and Cloudflare states that it does not identify or fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser or anything else. So it cannot recognise you when you come back: each arrival from another site, or from a typed or saved link, counts as a new visit. We see only totals, never a record of any one person.
Email sign-ups
If you leave your email address in one of our forms, for early access or for a download, it is sent to Buttondown, the service we use to keep our list, which emails you a link to confirm it first. We use it only to tell you about SpecCapture and to send what you asked for, and every email we send tells you how to stop them.
Drawings you upload
SpecCapture is not open for uploads yet. How it will handle your drawings is set out on thetrust page. The sample on the sample page is a made-up drawing.
